ISLAMABAD: A person allegedly killed his tenant for refusing to pay elevated hire till a water boring mechanism was activated in the home.
The police’s murder unit have arrested the suspect, who has been remanded in police custody.
The complainant, Ayesha Yasmeen, informed the police that she and her husband Mohammad Kaleem had rented a home in I-10/1.
She mentioned their landlord visited the home and knowledgeable Kaleem that he can be rising the hire, to which Kaleem mentioned he would pay the excessive hire if the owner organized a water boring mechanism at his personal expense. The owner then ordered them to vacate the home instantly.
In a written software, she mentioned the owner then started throwing objects, and when Kaleem tried to cease him, he pushed him. He fell over and died.
The police have registered a case underneath Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) part 302 and arrested the owner.
A police official, who was not authorised to talk on file, confirmed that the incident fell within the class of homicide, which is why it was registered underneath PPC part 302.
On June 13, residents of I-10 held a protest towards the scarcity of water, blocking service highway south of the sector for hours. They alleged that water from Poona Faqiran, which was meant for the sector, was being stolen in Sohan, Margalla City and by farmhouses in Chak Shahzad.
In addition they alleged that direct strains from the 36-inch mainline go to Sohan and Parade Floor, due to which I-10, which is on the finish of the availability line, doesn’t obtain water.
